What is the cause of lung cancer? The major cause is smoking and breathing in polluted air which harms the lungs thus leading to cancer. Chinese government collected data that revealed decrease in air pollution in Beijing over the first quarter of the year as compared to the end of the year. Greenpeace, environmental protection organisation said that the concentrations of the particulate matter (PM2.5) have reduced its level by 13 percent in the first three months of this year. Zhang Kai, the author from Greenpeace had to say “the government is leading with unprecedented transparency to expose the data of air pollution. Now, the government should look into the fact that the pollution does not get translocated to other cities”. He further added “such strict measure should be applied across the country”.
